Amount or Item(s) Scammed: Qonto Business account

Additional Information:

Before I bought it, the seller clearly told me the account could safely handle 10k$ transfers. He also said the delivery would be instant after I made the payment. I ended up waiting. Time is money and I hate wasting it, I buy a lot.

The main problem is that the account did not perform. It was blocked after a transfer of only 3k$. The seller lied me only to sell that it will accept 10k just fine, and I have included evidence showing exactly what happened.

I tried to contact the seller to resolve it. @Clown blocked me, leaving me with no way to discuss the problem and blacklisted me for no reason.

My request is for this issue to be resolved. I cannot contact @Clown directly because he has blocked me... It's frustrating to see sellers make promises just to get a sale and then I get blocked. There are many honest and reliable sellers on this marketplace, and I spend a lot of money here because of them. It's not a right way to treat customers.

Crypto address for a refund: I will provide.

All communication will be inside this thread, every statement i write here, we can support it by a screenshot from the telegram chat along with any other screenshots that might be asked by the moderator are very welcome.

The buyer threatened a dispute before delivery.
They said:
"I will wait 1h if not i make dispute."

I did deliver a fully verifed account with live company status ( we can also give the moderator proves if needed )

My message says:
"You are blacklisted from the store after delivery."

The buyer repeatedly pressured me.

They sent many messages within about an hour demanding updates and threatening.
this violated my support policy my ToS allows refusing future service to abusive or threatening customers. Clowns.biz/tos ( can be checked here. )

Conclusion of the situation of blacklist.
The buyer received the product that was purchased. The blacklist occurred after delivery due to his conduct during the transaction, not as an attempt to avoid support + Only after the delivery was complete did I blacklist him from future purchases because I do not continue doing business with customers who threatendisputes / spam while an order is actively being fulfilled. ( hope this part is clear for both staff and buyer )

The buyer's report omits several important facts.

Before the purchase, the buyer asked whether the account could support 5–10k EUR SEPA top-ups. I replied that it could, but I also clearly told him to warm the account up first. He acknowledged this by replying, ok hope so. Is receiving €3,000 as one of the very first transactions really considered warming up an account?

The account was delivered in working condition exactly as advertised. It was already verified and fully functional at the time of delivery. Any restriction that occurred afterward was made solely by Qonto's internal compliance and risk systems, which are completely outside of my control + buyer decisions of the use.

As clearly stated in my Terms of Service, we do not accept responsibility for any activity performed on the account after delivery Once an account is delivered, we have no control over how it is used, what funds are received, the origin of transactions, or any other activity that may trigger a bank's compliance review. Only the bank knows the exact reason for any restriction.

Additionally, the warranty becomes void once there has been activity or transactions on the account, which is also clearly stated in our Terms of Service. The buyer used the account, meaning the warranty no longer applied.

The buyer is asking me to take responsibility for a banking decision that occurred after delivery and after the account had already been used. No seller can guarantee how a financial institution will assess future transactions or whether it will request additional verification or impose restrictions. Those decisions are entirely outside any seller's control. ( along with that i dont think any seller inside cracked.st / or any other forum would consider this report as valid or his fault or under his warranty policy or even forum policy. we had reputable users name buying from we never had a debate whether we have to held responsible for $ inside the account being sold. )

And last thing
If required by a moderator, I can provide evidence confirming:

The verification date of the account.
That the account's verification was valid at the time of delivery.
That the account was delivered in working condition.
That the restriction occurred after the buyer's own use of the account, not before delivery.

I can also provide the registered company name associated with the account for verification purposes. The company's public registration can be confirmed and the company still active and live through Pappers https://www.pappers.fr/ However, to protect the privacy of the company's information, I am not willing to publicly disclose the company's documents within this dispute thread. I am happy to provide them privately to a staff if verification is required

A note for the buyer
If the funds were not credited, the buyer can request a refund to the original payment source through the sending bank or payment provider. ( your issue cannot be solved we help everyone even if the warranty time ended but unfortunately we don't have ability to do video call. )

I would like to respond to the seller's statements because several points are either irrelevant or misleading. Everything happened in the same day of purchase.

First, I never claimed that the account was non-functional upon delivery. I have evidence that it was working initially. My dispute is not that the account arrived broken. My dispute is that I purchased it based on the seller's representations that it could handle 10,000 EUR/USD transfers after warming it up, yet it became restricted after only a 3,000 EUR transfer.

The seller is correct that he told me to warm the account up first. However, he also clearly stated that it would handle "10k just fine" after doing so. The obvious question is: what exactly qualifies as "warming up"? Is receiving one 3,000 EUR transfer considered excessive for an account that was advertised as being suitable for 10,000 EUR transfers? If an account cannot even handle 3,000 EUR without being restricted, then it clearly does not match what was represented to me before the sale. I should ve made 10$ transaction or what?

I also have documentation proving the origin of my funds and every transfer I receive. The problem is not the legitimacy of my funds. The issue is that the bank now requires verification from the account owner, and since I am not the original owner, I cannot complete that process myself. Only the seller can assist with that, replace the product, or provide another solution.

The seller keeps referring to his own Terms of Service. Those are not what determines this dispute. We are on Cracked with its own dispute process and forum rules. A seller cannot simply avoid responsibility for inaccurate pre-sale representations by pointing to personal Terms of Service.

Regarding the delivery delay, I specifically purchased an in-stock account because I needed it immediately. Instead, I paid and was left waiting with no communication. Had I known delivery would be delayed, I could have purchased from another seller or chosen a made-to-order account instead. People buy in stock to get it fast. If I would ve not pushed you with that message I would ve waited an entire day. You got the payment and instantly ignored me for 1 hour. My statement that I would open a dispute if I continued being ignored was made only after waiting without updates. I did not continuously threaten the seller; I asked for updates, and only once mentioned opening a dispute because I was paying for an advertised in-stock product.

The seller also states that I was blacklisted because of my behavior.  If I had known I would receive no support whatsoever after payment, I would never have proceeded with the purchase. Blocking a customer immediately after delivery and then arguing that "all communication should happen in this thread" does not change the fact that I was prevented from contacting the seller directly when I needed help. You told me "You are blacklisted from the store after the delivery" and instantly sent the account so you forced me to accept it from a blacklisted store!!!
You told me you blacklist me and in the same second you sent the account to force me accept it and after blocked me! can be seen in conversation
If I knew you would ve blocked me, I would ve cancel the entire order. Such open-ups needs support and I needed to buy more.
You cant leave me blind with a business account. This tactic of forcing me to accept it was pretty smart.

This dispute is simple. I bought the account based on the seller's representations. The account failed far below the capability that was represented before the purchase, and I was blocked instead of being assisted being forced to accept an account, because I got blacklisted in the same moment he sent it leaving me blind. I am therefore requesting a fair resolution:
  • Repair the account by assisting with the verification required by Qonto, if possible.
  • Replace it with another equivalent Qonto or similar account that matches what was advertised.
  • If neither is possible, issue a refund.

I am not asking the seller to control Qonto's internal compliance decisions. I am asking the seller to stand behind the product that was sold and the representations that were made before I paid. And no, I cant withdraw / refund the 3.000 EUR as you stated above, because your account it s bad and doesnt let me. I will accept this loss and will not ask you to take care of my funds, but at least replace me or fix it.

The buyer keeps focusing on the "10k" statement while ignoring the most important part of the conversation. I specifically told him to warm the account up first, which he acknowledged by replying, "ok hope so." A warm-up does not mean receiving a €3,000 transfer as one of the first transactions. Warming up a bank account means gradually building account history through small card purchases, low-value transfers, and normal activity before attempting larger transactions.
3k is considered big yes and its not a warm up you probably received a transfer from a fish or victim since the way you were rushing you really didn't warmed up the account received straight straight 3k from someone ( we don't really care just making sure staff knows )

To the staff I believe the product was delivered exactly as described. The issue being reported occurred only after the buyer started using the account and relates to the bank's own compliance process, which is entirely outside of my control. Therefore, I respectfully request that this dispute be dismissed.

What i am capable to help the buyer with.
Is accessing the account Qonto and guaranteed the refund of 3k to the original account that made the transfer with. I can share a refund statement after that.
Also I can get bank statement by calling the bank and show staff that.
He never warmed up the account as being told.

Received straight 3k
Along with that block as I said earlier can be because of my things one them is people sending money to the buyer using a mismatch name not matching the company so that can trigger the account or a blacklisted bank high risk merchant..etc ( open up seller dont held responsibility for the use )

Finally, I would like to raise one additional concern. Based on the buyer's previous disputes with knowns open up seller here I have reason to believe the account may have been resold. My Terms of Service prohibit reselling unless the customer is part of our authorized reseller program. If staff considers this relevant, I would appreciate verification of who the actual end user of the account was and, if necessary, that the real user be included in this dispute.

I will stop wasting time responding to the thread until a staff asks additional questions or close this joke report.

I would like to respond to the seller's latest reply.

First, this is not a "joke report." I paid for a product that did not perform as it was represented before the sale, and I am simply asking for a fair resolution.

The seller keeps saying that I "didn't warm up the account." However, he never explained how Qonto "warming up" should be done exactly. There was no guide, no instructions, no recommendation such as making small card purchases, receiving several low-value transfers, or waiting a number of days. The only thing I was told was not to send 10,000 directly and that it would handle "10k just fine" after warming it up.

Now, after the dispute started, the seller is giving a completely new explanation of what warming up supposedly means. If those instructions were essential, they should have been clearly communicated before I used the account, not after the account failed. Simply saying "warm it up" without explaining how cannot later be used against me.

The seller also claims I "probably received a transfer from a victim." That is completely false and unsupported. The €3,000 came from my own Wise account that I need to withdraw money from because got blocked and they let me withdraw, not from any victim. I do not work with victims! The sender details match my own information, and I can provide the Wise transfer confirmation, statements, and any additional proof requested by Qonto support to help me out.
Proof that transfer was received from WISE itself and not a victim: https://ibb.co/0pk7cJrY

As I already explained, the source of funds is not the issue. The problem is that Qonto does not recognize me as the account owner and requests verification that only the registered owner can provide. That is why I need the seller's assistance. If, as he says, he can access the account and communicate with Qonto, then I ask him to help resolve the issue instead of refusing responsibility. I am fully willing to cooperate and provide every document required.

I also want to address the blacklist.

The seller says he blacklisted me after delivery because of my behavior. However, he told me I was blacklisted at the same moment he delivered the account and then immediately blocked me. If I had known beforehand that I would receive no support after payment, I would have cancelled the purchase. Business accounts can require assistance after delivery, especially when compliance requests arise. Blocking a customer immediately after delivering the account leaves them without the support they reasonably expected.

Finally, the seller suggests I resold the account. That is another unsupported accusation. I bought this account for my own use and even told the seller that if everything went well, I intended to buy more accounts from him. There is no evidence whatsoever that the account was resold.

I trusted the seller when he said the account would handle 10k after warming it up. My reply of "ok hope so" simply shows that I relied on his representation. A legitimate €3,000 transfer to a business account should not immediately make the account unusable, especially when no clear warm-up instructions were ever provided.
If I wanted to resell those accounts I would ve even asked for a discount, but I needed the account alone. I spend monthly xx.xxx$ on the forum sellers and those cases like yours are rare.

My request remains the same and is reasonable:

* Help restore the account by assisting with the required verification.
* Replace it with another equivalent account.
* If neither is possible, issue a refund.

I am willing to cooperate fully and provide transfer confirmations, Wise statements, proof of funds, or any other documentation requested by staff or the seller to resolve this matter.

The buyer also claims that I never defined what warming up means. However, warming up a bank account is a well-known banking term and is not something I invented for this dispute. And you clearly accepted to warm up and never asked any extra questions before paying for the product ( also you are actively reselling openups from other sellers i am not surprised you acting unknown for the term warm up and you already replied with OK ) anyways generally refers to gradually building normal account history through small card purchases, low-value transfers, and regular activity before attempting larger transactions. I have attached a screenshot showing that this is publicly recognized and commonly understood.

https://ibb.co/677DQF09

There is no commonly accepted meaning of warming up that involves receiving a €3,000 transfer as one of the very first transactions on a newly used account. The buyer acknowledged my instruction to warm the account up but chose not to follow it. The issue arose only after the buyer's own use of the account, not because the account was delivered defective. ( he stated and approved account was verifed the delivery day )

Would a reasonable buyer understand warm it up as including don't make a €3,000 transfer as one of the first transactions? Based on public term definition and the acceptance of the buyer. ( i see this report a joke and abusive regards open up seller / lets not even mention the store clowns.biz/tos if staff can consider them)

Regarding your funds, I am willing to cooperate in helping you recover them. If the transfer can be returned to the original sending bank (Wise), I will provide any reasonable proof or information required from my side to assist with that process. However, assistance with recovering the funds does not constitute acceptance of liability for the bank's actions or create grounds for a replacement or refund.

Hope this makes the water clearer for you to understand.

Here more for fun, there is no public terms on the holy world means add 3k euro as warm up to receive 10keuro stop making jokes and repeating same statement over its ridiculous how you wanna put accountability that I am the wrong here.
