![]() ![]() HP ProLiant DL360e Gen8 - 192GB RAM - 2.4TB SSD - 700W power supply Also picked up a custom firewall running pfSense from eBay. Added a 1kVA online UPS, giving around 4–5 hours of backup during outages. Picking up another HP small server for ~$100 today - will update once I have it. Future plans: - Automatic failover (HA) - Dedicated backup node (NAS for file storage) - 10G switch for local networking - Clean and repaint the rack - Install an air purifier inside the rack to handle dust (placed near corridor)

I found a local deal where someone is fireselling some stuff and I'm going to get a nice managed network switch out of it that'll be more than I ever need. Looking at possibly picking up an older server to run as a NAS. I'd also like to upgrade into something that could handle more VM's as myself and friend like testing/breaking stuff and use some of them for other things. Started out with a thinkcentre M720Q and fell in love with self hosting
