We're sorry for the frustration this caused, and we understand how serious data loss is for any customer. After the hardware failure on the affected node, our team made multiple attempts at recovery over an extended period before concluding the data was unrecoverable.
That said, as outlined in our Terms of Service, clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups, and vShield does not guarantee data recovery in the event of hardware or system failure. This is standard across unmanaged VPS providers, and we strongly encourage all customers to maintain off-site backups.
We replaced your server at no additional cost and provided 3 months of service free of charge. We remain available if you'd like to discuss anything further.
