Additional Information: I purchased a 1-year Gemini Pro subscription and received an account. After changing the password and adding a secondary email, I was logged out about five minutes later and asked to verify the account using a phone number.I attempted to use my own country’s phone number, but it was rejected and the system required a number from a different country. Phone number verification was never mentioned before the purchase. The seller claimed this was not his responsibility since the account had already been delivered and told me to resolve the issue myself.
Because I had no other option, I used a temporary phone number from an SMS activation service to complete the verification. About a week later, Gemini requested phone number confirmation again by sending a code to the same number. Since the number was temporary, I could not receive the code.
The seller refuses to take responsibility, stating that it is my fault. However, the account he provided already had these issues from the start, leaving me with no way to properly secure or recover it. The account was essentially unusable and doomed from the beginning.
