Purchased Monzo on Monday for 680 USD, almost entirely because it was in stock. This was more expensive than other monzo personal accounts but was the only one in stock.

The account had many fatal issues:

Proxy dead, purchased a new one to get it working, vendor did not offer when told.

Virtual number expired and not possible to renew.

Main issue: ‘email not found’. The account didn’t exist anymore. It had been completely banned and vendor had not checked.

I told vendor my need for the account was urgent and reason for buying was urgency.

They said they’d look into it, and was told I’d get a new one in 24-72 hours.

I asked for a refund times and I was told ‘we don’t have a refund policy, it’s not possible’ like they’re a bloody supermarket.

After 72 hours, I was told I would get 200$ compensation and would get the account the same day.

But then, later, I received the most insane message:

“ Hi , did you buy monese or monzo ?
Cause Monese is around 700$ and monzo uk is 1500$ always
How much did you pay, I might quote wrong price to you
I am admitting my mistake on this. Our website was under maintenance when you bought the account. The price glitched somehow ..

I will give you the replacement tonight..if possible can you pay us 400-500$ more on this . Cause the actual price is 1500$ . Our raw cost on 1 monzo is more than 680$ what you paid. I am noy forcing you. It's a humble request if you can help this way out. If you can't, there's no problem also. Just lmk “

I of course told them they must be insane, and I feel disrespected that they even tried to pull this crap on me.

Taking me for an idiot, telling me a Monzo is 1500 USD. They should have just refunded me when I asked many times because it’s now Friday and they still haven’t got my account.

Their website is down and many groups are either banned or they’ve blocked me to stop me seeing their real prices. I think they’re going to exit scam.

I will update if I get the account.

I have proof of all of the above.
