A Winter Break

Hello Cracked members,
 
This year has been a rough one for all of us. Between the forum shutdown, the restart of services, and the low traffic that followed, things haven’t exactly been smooth. Still, one thing has stayed strong: the community. Those of you who stayed, kept posting, helping, and supporting each other are the reason Cracked is still here. You are the reason I have shown up in the Shoutbox every day.
 
As much as I enjoy the company, the jokes, and the memes, I’ve decided to use the upcoming winter break as an opportunity to step away from the digital world completely. I want to give myself the space to be present with the people close to me, prepare gifts, send wish cards, and actually let the winter holidays feel like what they’re supposed to be.
 
I’m also taking this time to reflect on my habits, my behavior, my decisions and to set clearer goals going into the new year. This post is mainly symbolic, a way to stamp the decision and hold myself to it.
 
I wish every single one of you wonderful winter holidays.
